kiru
So I recently ordered a M17x R3 from the Canadian Dell site and after waiting for the "In Production" status for the last 4 weeks it's finally shipped! But after checking the tracking number it was shipped via Purolator and from the states. I was wondering since it will be going through the borders to get to where I am (in Toronto), going through customs and all, are they going to charge me for customs and brokerage fees? I mean ordering from the Canadian site, one would think that it would be shipped within the borders and would not have to deal with customs and such? Or was I wrong to think that way? robby001
No they wont charge you a fee. My wifes HP laptop came from China and everything it need for shipping was included in the price we paid.
kune
duty = tax, and you already paid full tax so no duty. That's all customs is allowed to charge without finding fraudulent shipments.brokerage or handling or whatever is part of the extra money we pay in ordering from .ca

But wasn't sure about the brokerage since usually the delivery company charges that when they have to cross the border and it wasn't stated when checking out and paying on the site. But my system just arrived today and everything was okay :)Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated.
