The specs also really aren't known since the R9 285, which is supposed to have a tonga core like the m295x, is now rumored to have 2304 shaders instead of 2048 like tahiti.Supposedly the 285 comes out in a month so hopefully things will become more clear soon. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MasterInTheUniverse Posted August 9, 2014 Author Share Posted August 9, 2014 I hope this vga will be released. Simply I have Clevo P170EM with 3820QM and 8970M/M290X. If M295X will be release, I can obtain about 50% more of power without changing the entire laptop with new cpu, gpus etc...I can mantain the same configuration, that is mostly enough for recently games, with a new vga.
