pintozack
Two part question, and sorry if this is an obvious one:- Have any of you been able to locate a Blu Ray / Ultrabay drive for the Lenovo y510p? I am aware that this will require a 9.5 mm drive (right?) and that I should expect to have to remove the bezel from my current drive and put it on a replacement drive, if I can find one. About the only one I have found is the Panasonic UJ162, which can be purchased on Amazon Marketplace or eBay, but I haven't found it directly from a well-known vendor.- If I can find one, will it be more or less plug & play? Due to the whitelist issues with wireless, I'm now leery of being able to just plug in what I want to the laptop.Thank you!
lovelyallan
there should be no sata restrictions on laptops, as long as it physically fit the laptop it should run
random_matt
Should run in my opinion also.

Sick Nick
The ODD should be a direct swap, take out the old one and replace with the BD drive. Finding the ultrabay complete part will be tricky though, seems those are not for sale at all.
shovel2797
Are there any cheap ones specifically made for the Y510p?
