there should be no sata restrictions on laptops, as long as it physically fit the laptop it should run

its probably easier to just flash the bios... if it doesnt work as intended just flash back of course dont flash just any random ones...

the 7260ac is fine card for me, once in a while the 5ghz dies on me but its easily fixed by restarting the computer.

will a 6300 work in my y500? it has 3 attena and my laptop only has 2 wires

maybe try update your bios to the latest version

think i read somewhere that there is a rescue disc to recover insyde bios with a usb stick gotta google it

will a 7260 work with a y500? or do i need whitlist as well?
