3mbr@c3 my d@rkn3--
Hello CommunityI'm in URGENT need for a ATI 7970m vBIOS File which works with a Clevo P370EM. My VGA card died during the last weekend and I need the vBIOS to flash the replacement card.Thank you so much for your efforts and Support.Greetings3mbr@c3 my d@rkn3$$Edit01:My now dead Card had the vBIOS BR42768.008, is there anything newer than it? I used the Card in combination with an RAID/UEFI-Environment.
svl7
Here's the newer version.Clevo 7970m - P370EM.rom.zip
3mbr@c3 my d@rkn3--
Thanks for your fast Support, appreciate it. Apparently the supplier was too stupid to flash the proper ROM... sometimes I wonder how the f*** someone is able to be a Clevo Barebone Seller. 3mbr@c3 my d@rkn3--
Dear Lord on Earth, the card is on its way to me, will be delievered today... then will do the flashing part, shouldn't be a problem with all the guides provided here and there
3mbr@c3 my d@rkn3--
Great, received the card, plugged it in, had a Screen, turned from legacy back to uefi and BAAAM... no fucking screen... I'm going nuts here. Is the vBIOS not compatible with UEFI? Shit, I couldn't even flash the card.
svl7
Yes it is, but if you changed to UEFI before flashing then chances are that the vbios that was on your card does not support UEFI.
Guest
You should flash AMD cards in Windows on EM systems.
3mbr@c3 my d@rkn3--
Will try, as soon as I reassembled the book (removed the CMOS battery for a reset), hopefully I'll receive an Image on the Screen...

3mbr@c3 my d@rkn3--
Well, I guess I was too early to put my mind at ease. I experience some weird issues, have to boot the notebook a 2nd time to get an image on the screen and can't shut it down properly. Maybe it has something to do with the current vBIOS populated on the GPU?
3mbr@c3 my d@rkn3--
Okay, I flashed the vBIOS svl7 provied me and tada, my notebook is working like a champ. Well, I guess I'm going for a daily backup routine from now on
Smiffy
You should flash AMD cards in Windows on EM systems. Is this still the case even with the latest version of ATIFlash, I have a P370EM crossfired.I was going to blind-flash backup my Master and Slave GPUs vbios from DOS as well as reflash the Master GPU, will this not work - I feel disheartened now ;(

ozi87
https://app.box.com/s/hejjapovsbllsjkct9uoach9l7noltx1 Hi Prema, I after a driver update my laptop never was the same again. I had to a 7970 CF with a clevo p370em, with your beatiful bios and default 015.021.000.002.042768 vbios :), do you belive that if i flash your vbios the problem will be solved? I was reading something about win10 lcd corruption, but it was with nvidia drivers. I don´t know what to do... The stips apears during the post to. Before i had image only via hmdi, after i change to uefi boot the image appears again in LCD. Something very strange, is that if i install the driver, after windows load the drivers, the image appears without strips. What cold it be ? I tried with win 7, default drivers, with one graphic with the other, nothing apears to work. Edited May 20, 2016 by ozi87

matteoumb
I'm still trying to do the blind-flash, but it seems that the various vbios I tried are wrong. I tried these vbios: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/128794/clevo-hd7970m-2048-120605 in this thread i tryed the vbios provided from svl7 and vbios provided by prema, none of these worked the stock vbios for my gpu is BR42768.008 the same that i tryed for do the first flash vbios attempt but maybe that vbios had enduro I do not know what to do, if someone knows and can help me I would be grateful
