J95
pri plane current limit is set to 0(auto)..is turning that value up to 864 dangerous? and what does the 864 represent milliwatts or something? It's perfectly safe, i7-2720QM max short turbo power limit 60 watts (R3 BIOS 55W), Pri Plane Current Limit 0/auto (776=97 amps) 108 multiplied by 8=864, 108A will sustain 57-60W just monitor temps. Wasn't this bad lol. Probably going to just un do this..

Even with unlocked bios and proper settings such as msr lock disabled, I found it is impossible in m17x R4 to increase the stock TDP of CPU. I have tested this with four m17x R4 and a few CPUs (XM and QM), and nothing helped to increase the stock TDP setting. XM CPU wont consume more than 67w and QM 55w. If anybody can prove I am wrong, I would be more than happy to know how to break the "intel law" in m17x R4. I would like to know too.
