pri plane current limit is set to 0(auto)..is turning that value up to 864 dangerous? and what does the 864 represent milliwatts or something?

In XTU the max i can set turboboost power is 72.

and how can i change the max tdp from 45w to 55w? nevermind i think i figured it out. ok i did notice some throttling during game play seem as though its only to control cpu temp tho is that normal? my temps went in to 90's then throttled. update: i went into the bios and changed the lower and upper power limit to 55. Which assume must be watts(cause the i7-2720qm max TDP is 55w). Went back in to throttlestop and did the same. But temp varaitions continue along with throttling.

Works like a charm i7-2720qm speed consistently around 2.9 Ghz- 3.1 Ghz. My system wont allow 99 but 72 as max for long and short limits. I set it to 60, and 72 for long and short limits but it really didnt make any difference. Left it at 72. Nonetheless Im very happy with the clock speed consistency..Thks will +rep when i can. PS:CPU temps 70-75 degrees celcius. I also noticed that my TRL max core1 is 33, core2 is 32, core3 is 30, and core4 is 30. I cannot change any of these values. But I assume that if all cores ran at 33 i would be able to run at 3.2 Ghz(CPU max Turbo speed); because the multiplier is 33T. using throttlestop 6.10

Before I take out my old gpu i should erase all nvidia drivers first. Turn off integrated audio/ set monitor to PEG/ IGPU disabled Take out the old GPU. Apply thermal pads and thermal paste to their respective areas on the new GPU and heatsink. Insert new GPU. Boot. Open the nvdmn.inf in notepad and basically replace all instances of "05AE with 0490" ok done and saved. Then run nvidia 334.67 setup. MODDING ?--->Is that the way you mod the new nvidia driver releases whenever a new version comes out so my GPU can run the latest drivers?

Ok applied tweaks 1.Aggressive LPM support disabled 2. Power ->Advanced CPU Control ->Turbo PWR Limit MSR Lock ->Disabled. What do these two tweaks do?

Ok I fixed it i flashed the a12 unlocked bios and logged in with the supervisor password. It now shows hidden menus.

what happened was i mistakenly enabled igfx in the a12 unlocked and the system went blank and after a successful blind flash my system was restore and working. Since my new GPU arrives Friday i just want to check my bios to make sure it was running the a12 unlocked version which is essential to the gpu upgrade. it doesn't show hidden menus. Im wondering if i have to clear the cmos settings again blind flash and then flash back to a12 unlocked in windows. ps: load optimal settings is greyed out in bios

"Hey have and m17x r3, bios a12 unlocked. I enabled igfx in the second advance menu Option in the a12 unlocked bios and was locked out my computer. I did a blind flash and was able to restore" my new bios problem is everytime i try to flash a12 unlocked bios it doesn't show hidden menus. I ordered my GPU and should be arriving any day now. I tried flashing down to a12 dell bios and then back to a12 unlocked but the hidden menus weren't showing up.What do i have to do to get a12 unlocked to show all menus.
