8solo5
Hy Guys this is my first post on this forum, so thanks for all I read untill now!!! I bought a second hand akitio thinderbolt 2 modified with an NVIDIA GTX 960 MINI ITX, it's arrived today. I installed it on my 13" macbook pro 2015, using the script..now..I have a problem..mac os succesfully recognize the GPU but my external monitor is an apple cinema display, and it has only a mini display in port, the gtx 960 doesn't exit via MDP but hdmi and dvi..so..if I connect the Cinema Display directly on the thunderbolt exit on the akitio box, mac os use only my integrated graphic card.. This is a short video that explains my situation... Do I need to buy a new Nvidia Card? Any cheaper solution ? Miller
@8solo5 Hi buddy, all video cards would have the same outputs. Best thing to do is to get an adapter. HDMI to Mini display port. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204149

This is the adapter you need: http://a.co/1HGrKLB You don't need to go from HDMI to MDP... you just need to go from Display Port to MDP Female. That adapter should do the trick. Your video card as a Regular Display Port plug right next to the HDMI.
