raptor1jec
Hey everyone, I've been following svl7's guide to removing the whitelist from my y500, but I ran into Error 28: Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access. Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected Range Registers. I saw that svl7 solved it for Frost-dc, but they neither of them ever posted the solution. I tried PM'ing him, but he cannot receive messages. Can anyone help me out help me and/or give me the solution? The sleep hack also doesn't work for me. Thanks! Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected Range Registers. Then download archive Prr.rar from this link: https://files.fm/u/qfpmwzpsh Extract this archive, then put both files ( prr.exe and Flash.bat ) into your USB flash drive (where contain your bios file and fpt utility). Rename your file v204mod.bin to bios.bin Then boot from your USB flash drive in real DOS, and execute command: flash
