What program you use for monitoring real current frequency and voltage? Just use Nvidia Inspector and you can see after benchmark that frequency and voltage will reduce.

Do not try flash it! You can't use this modified bios, you'll lose your serial nr, mac adresses and your windows activation keys. This mod bios based on the native backup from chrono86 laptop, and it is only for his laptop.

Ok. I understand. This is max for your case. For overclock more you need power supply(power adapter) with more power. But now you have already very nice overclock and result.

P8192 graphic score! It is very nice result for 870M! You can try a bit increase core clock more then 1110,5.

See only graphic score, because this score for graphic card. P8000+! Phisics score is for CPU, and total score for combination both CPU+GPU. You can try a bit increasy core clock and run 3D Mark again.

I do not have GTX870M. I just make this mod based on your vbios. Please run GPU-Z(monitoring window with set max value) and then run 3D Mark. After 3D Mark was finished, make screenshot of GPU-Z(monitiring window) and post here.

In my vbios overclock already applied. You do non need overclock more. Just flash and run 3D Mark.

In your vbios voltage adjustment is already unlocked. For overclock and adjust voltage just use last version of Nvidia Inspector. 9K and more it is for 256bit(memory bus) and 1536 unified cores(780M and 880M), for 192bit and 1344 unified cores(870M) is possible only 8K+(graphic score).

Yes your graphic card is died. In new cards, model of card(Quadro or Tesla or GTX) is given by a combination of resistors, which in turn determines the specific combination of the voltage at the output ports of the graphics chip. Something died in the voltage supply around the chip. While you wait for the new 880 card you just need to disconnect and remove the old 780. For scientific experiment, it would be very interesting(in your case) to try to establish professional drivers for Nvidia Tesla K10. It would also be very interesting to try to flash with programmer device videobios from Tesla K10 and then install professional drivers for Tesla K10.

I think you can use other power supply from an other company and solder on the required connector without any problems.

I think that you should try to use a more powerful power supply. For example 150W or 180W.

Received it. Thank you! I dont know what the program can monitoring all power of laptop. I know it is possible with power control device. Of course you can use another power adapter(with more power) from another laptop, but you need choice it with correct voltage and connector (the same as your native connector from Acer).
