Nothing will change the ASIC reading it only means that you will need to increase v more when overclocking, as I said before no overclocking is required at all even more with the 1600x900 resolution.

It's disabled, probably part of Windows 8.1 SmartScreen...the original .exe doesn't fix any of the Win8/8.1 issues anyway but I will keep looking...thanks for the link.
