Seems not working.
  2. FYI. Hi I have done msata upgrade and here is my new msata SSD bechmark result. I averaged 293MB/s in windows 8 without any tweaking yet. I'm going to do some routine SSD tweaking. Will udpate later.
  3. Parts bought. Put the new msata in place (2 screws needed) Now clone the 5400rpm HD into the new msata ssd. Benchmark result shows decent score. So far I'm enjoying the upgrade and hopefully this answers some questions.

  5. What I meant was that m-sata works same as sata3. an m-sata HD can save a HD space ( so you don't have to buy a extension bay to add 2nd HD)..
  6. I seconded kareldegrote 's opioion. You should see no difference between the msata drive and a regular sata3 drive.
