Thanks so much I bricked my old MB by flashing the Unlocked A10 BIOS so that I could forcibly disable the integrated graphics, Not knowing that it was a bug with the Vbios. It just beeped over and over again, And even removing the BIOS battery didn't help. I tried to blind flash it, But I got that 'Total dead no power at all' result as other people have had after blind flashing, So Dell just came and replaced my MB. Just did this and it solved my problem completely Thanks very much

Hey all, I'm Kai from Adelaide and I joined up so that I could get the unlocked BIOS for my Alienware M17X R4 (I'm sick of the switchable graphics working poorly, So I want to disable the integrated card on the laptop

There should be an option to use 'PEX Graphics' or to disable the Intel HD Graphics in the unlocked BIOS (I know it's there, But I'm going from memory here)

How safe is it to blind flash back to A05 and then install the Unlocked A10 BIOS? I really want to be able to disable the Intel HD graphics and use only the dedicated, But I'm not sure if it's worth the risk. Advice?
