  1. I tried fptw64 for my Asus H87M-E (Haswell, Socket 1150 LGA, Intel Core i5 4570). But I got the following error: Error 201: [FPTw64.exe] cannot be run on the current platform. Please contact your vendor. So it look's like note working for my. Or what can I do?? I bought the mainboard in 2014. Edit: I also tried the DOS-version, but I got the same error.
  2. The question is how old your Macbook Air is. If it is build around 2012 you may have luck.
  3. The thread is great, but it is quite exhausting to search all the posts for the ssd you want. Why not create a table for SSD. Similar to https://www.notebookcheck.com/Mobile-Prozessoren-Benchmarkliste.1809.0.html for CPUs?? Unfortunately there were no new posts for a few years, but maybe it could be revived??? My results in text form, since I'm not allowed to post pictures yet. 4. Yes, only with 5 posts you can download something. Have a look at: https://www.techinferno.com/index.php?/announcement/4-user-account-promotion-rules-read-before-posting/ You need to be a "promoted" user...
  5. I think your post is simply to long. You have quite a lot of experience. Maybe you try to write 2 or 3 concrete questions. I just brought Crucial P2 SSD 1TB, M.2, because Crucial is a known brand and the SSD was cheap.
  6. Great news!! Thanks for testing!! So then I have to wait to be a "pro user" and then I get "full privileges to download anything you like". Sorry, first time I read over the point with download...
  7. Thanks so fare. But how this rules are connected to the files in the first post of this thread. I thought, that downloads are only accessible after some time. But I didn´t found something like that. So how to download: https://www.techinferno.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=3583 and the other files? I get the message: Sorry, there is a problem This attachment is not available. It may have been removed or the person who shared it may not have permission to share it to this location. Error code: 2C171/1
  8. Hello, I´m struggling with the BIOS update of an old Asus Mainboard, where I want to use a NVMe SSD.
  9. How to download these files? I didn´t found "User Account Promtion Rules".
