Hey Guys, I apologize in advance if there is a thread similar to this, I searched and did not find anything, so I am creating a new topic. I have an Alienware 15 R2, that I brought with the intention of gaming on, it has an 980m graphics card. At the time it seemed portable but now seems like a brick loll. I picked up an m11x r3 pretty cheap, and will use that to do my browsing and light work, and leave the 15 as a desktop replacement of sorts. My question to you guys is, would a 980m graphics card be sufficient for these newer games? If not I was thinking of picking up an alienware graphics amplifier or razer core and use that, which leads me to my other question, would my machine support the razer core? Any help in advance would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hey man, I am in the same boat as you. I just picked up an R3 and have been doing minor upgrades, and answering questions here, but I just realized that none of these threads are up to date, they are very old. I also see alot of users still in pre-promotion even after having their accounts open for over a year, not very optimistic.

Hate to beat a dead horse, but laptopscreens no longer carries this screen, does anyone know where I can pick one up?

+1 on this, I recently picked up a 7260 off ebay for 7 bucks, can't beat that price, swapped out the old card, and downloaded the drivers and everything works great. Something of note, this has bluetooth as well, and for some reason my bluetooth stopped working, so this was a welcomed surprise

Hey Ultimatepump did you ever get this figured out? I am in the same boat as you, I would like to download and use this but am not sure how to get out of the pre-promotion period. Also does this unlocked bios allow for a change from Legacy Boot to UEFI?
