  1. No, no, worst case scenario = 1126 / 2955 no throttling at all (with your 350.12 mod) and this is the test with your 344.75, it tries to be as high as it can but it always goes down to 135 MHz or so: - - - Updated - - - 3D Mark 11 - Mr.Fox's batch file - 344.75 J95 modded drivers.
  2. This is it with your batch file :S I'm going to try with 344.75.
  3. What ever you need to test or try just tell me, I will try to satisfy your personal curiosity to fix this issue. I have reinstalled right now "..(only nv_dispi.inf) -> GeForce 350.12 MOD (PEG) AW/900M Stock Throttling Removed (P1 switching) " and as expected no throttling from 1126 MHz (this mod is the most stable) but we can't go further than 1126 MHz If we could have a different VBIOS to try, it will help us to know if the problem persist even if you force those clocks & voltage by flashing the cards. Is there any how we could try to mod Prema's vbios? I would like to test something like: P1 - Core 1300 MHz / Memory 2905 MHz @ 1.112 mV (stock voltage + 50 mV ) P0 - same clocks as P1. I don't know how to do that or who can help on this.

  5. I think it's SLI related (maybe power related). This is exactly what I did - (Reboot into Safe Mode -> Prior to that go into the BIOS -> Reset BCLK -> Boot -> DDU from safemode -> reboot with signature off -> install 344.75 -> Reboot -> Reboot Safe Mode -> DDU -> Reboot signature off -> Install 350.12 = 1126.4 MHz (SLI) ) The last thing I tried - (Reboot into Safe Mode -> Prior to that go into the BIOS -> Reset BCLK -> Boot -> DDU from safemode -> reboot with signature off -> install 344.75 -> -> Reboot signature off -> Install 350.12 = (with core clock @ +136 MHz and memory clock @ + 0 MHz) 1262 MHz for a few more seconds (Power consumption = always around 330W when it gets higher the core clock goes down to 1126 MHz) <- this last try I think is the best so far but still is not maintaining 1262 MHz the whole time. I will try to do something different if you think I did something wrong just let me know, but I guess is SLi related :S - - - Updated - - - I saw same behavior in 3D Mark 11 always 120.5 FPS. In some places and just for a few short time it goes higher than that but not all the times and not all the time.
  6. After testing with 344.75 (+ your inf.) I'm not quite sure if it's driver related. With this drivers, I see the core trying to maintain the frequency but it always end with random core throttling (135, 500, 866 or so) but the good thing is that the core tries to be as high as possible all the time. Maybe you could apply your 350.12 fix to 344.75 drivers and I will check that for you. 350.12 seems to be the best driver so far talking about stability. I have one more test to do, install on top 344.75 your driver but first going to the BIOS and reset the BCLK. I will come back ASAP with more info.
  7. Thanks for the ideas, but still no luck, core clocks goes down to 1126 MHz. I will try with 344.75 now and benchmark with them, lets see how it goes. - - - Updated - - - As soon as I have a full stable system I will provide more benchmarks, including 3DMark 11. I'm using FireStrike because is fast to pass and save me a bunch of time.
  8. I have to go to bed right now (5.11 AM) I have to wake up "early" haha Hope you like this video (the video is recorded before applying your BIOS settings): if you want me to test something more, just leave it here I will ASAP tomorrow Thank you very much for your time and for your effort.
  9. I'm going to the BIOS right now I was recording one 3DMark benchmark plus the power consumption (I will upload it to YT). 5 Minutos I'll be back
  10. +135MHz on core (but 1126MHz always) / Same memory freq I'm going to try your settings Meanwhile check this out I think I have the best 3DMark FireStrike score so far (M18X-R2)! 14893
  11. Not sure how to check that :S - - - Updated - - - I think you are looking for this ? BIOS option for those ports:
  12. Here you have all my BIOS settings Nikos BIOS - Album on Imgur Maybe I set up something wrong.
  13. Yes I did, no luck even doing that. I tried: +50 MHz / +50MHz Still 1126 MHz during all the benchmark :S
  14. I'm not quite sure that is a problem with that, if I disable SLI the core clocks stays as high as I set it through NVinspector.
  15. it doesn't matter which clocks I match between P0 and P1 it always comes back to 1126MHz. No throttling down from 1126MHz.
  16. Here is a problem I see: The Vcore is always dropping from 1.1 (1.068 +37.5mV) to 1.068 (P0 to P1) so the cores can't get enough Voltage to work properly @ +148MHz / + 300MHz (the memory is just fine always working at the same frecuency) During FireStrike the first 3 seconds or less the core frequency stays where it has to be, but after the Vcore drops to 1.068 the core clock get back to 1126MHz.
  17. But how I'm supposed to do the vbios flashing? Maybe I'm a little confused, but I thought that with full UEFI boot mode I'm not able to flash the GPUs. I managed to make a Win7 USB to do the flashing but I couldn't try it yet. I'm waiting for all the questions to be covered before starting all the unmounting process.
  18. I'm going to make a list to try to simplify as much as I can the whole process: Feel free to copy the list and edit it if I miss any step. Flashing process: 1. Get Prema's vbios version 1.1 (Download HERE) (Make a donation to him - HERE). 2. Get @j95's modded drivers (Download HERE) (Make a donation to him - HERE <- need your link @j95 please ). 3. Remove the secondary GPU and turn on the laptop. 4. Change the BIOS to SG mode and UEFI with Legacy Option ROM. 5. Disable the 980M in Device Manager (this is required with Maxwell). 6. Flash the primary GPU, reboot and re-enable the GPU in Device Manager (Be patient, because UEFI with Legacy Option ROM flashing takes a bit longer sometimes). 6.1. After flashing, test or bench if you wish using a USB keyboard. 7. Shut down your laptop. Disconnect all power. 8. Put the secondary GPU in the primary slot. 9. No need to separate the heatsinks.* 10. Disable the GPU in Device Manager (this is required with Maxwell). 11. Flash the secondary GPU, reboot and re-enable the GPU in Device Manager (Be patient, because UEFI with Legacy Option ROM flashing takes a bit longer sometimes). 12. BEFORE REASSEMBLY, put the BIOS back to PEG mode with pure UEFI (no Legacy Option ROM). ** 13. Access startup settings. Next, click or tap the Advanced options tile. Select the Startup Settings tile on the Advanced options screen. 13. Reboot into safe mode (option 4) 14. Remove previous drivers with DDU, and access again to startup settings. Next, click or tap the Advanced options tile. Select the Startup Settings tile on the Advanced options screen. 15. On the Startup Settings screen, tap the F7 or 7 key on your keyboard to select the “Disable driver signature enforcement” option. 16. Install GeForce 350.12 WHQL -> Install using nv_dispi.inf from HERE. 17. NV Inspector -> Match P0/P1 stock clocks first -> Run Valley Benchmark then find out how much the card will hold w/ 1.068v , finally update settings. Don't mess w/ voltage offset including undervolting, only when OCing. 18. Do some benchmark (3DMark FireStrike 1.1, 3DMark 11, 3DMark Vantage...) *Lay the heat sink radiator on top of the chassis above the VGA/HDMI port. It will make a solid connection in the PCIe slot for flashing. Since there is no air being pushed through the radiator, it will get too hot if you try to use it this way, but it will be fine just for flashing. **If you forget to do this you will have to remove the secondary GPU or the machine will fail to POST with 8 beeps. Once the BIOS is correctly set, put everything back the way it is supposed to be and you're ready to go. Note: The only thing I do not understand is how I am supposed to boot into windows 7. I would like to do all this without having to format my current system. Is it possible that someone share an image (ISO or so) that let me boot up and flash? I hope you understand what I am talking about.
  19. Merry Christmas to all! I have read many pages of this thread to find a version of the vbios of my GPU (Dell 2xGTX680M SLI) with over voltage, UEFI support (Windows 8 Secure Boot & Fast Boot) but can not find the version. I am currently using the only version compatible with UEFI, but as I said before has no over voltage on. Do you know if there is that version? Thank you in advance!
  20. Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me the latest name of the Dell 680 modded vBIOS you made and if this vBIOS is fully compatible with UEFI (Secure Boot and FastBoot). Is this Dell 680m - 80.04.5B.00.02_'OCedition'_revised_00.zip? Sorry to ask this but I didn't find any dates on the vBIOS to check it up. Thank you for your modding and time here.
  21. Do you know if A03 is fully compatible with UEFI windows 8? I mean I have windows 8 right now and I want to upgrade to A09, but I don't know if I will have to reformat if I downgrade to A03. Thank you as always for your time and your knowledge
  22. Sorry to have to ask you again, but I've been waiting for an answer sometime and i didn't find out either. I want to upgrade to A09 unlocked from A08 unlocke, could you please help me ? I dont know how to make it. Thank you so much
  23. Hi!, I'm using A08 unlocked BIOS version but I want to update to the A09 unlocked as well, I was looking for a method to doing so but I could not find the thread. Could Anyone tell me where to find the method? Thank you!
