With these laptops you will actually get better performance from the cpu just by undervolting it a bit. Brings the thermals down a ton which boosts performance greatly.

Could try using CRU to overclock the laptops display. My AW18 display was able to get to 95hz

Right click "this pc" and then choose properties. On that screen to the left go to advanced system settings and in there under the hardware tab choose device installation settings and make sure "no" is selected. This fixed the same issue on my Alienware 18

If i were to upgrade my Alienware 18 to dual 980ms I would have to use the Clevo or Dell cards as the Msi wouldn't work? Is this Correct?

Anybody know if the 880m Dell vbios will still work with Alienwares latest A14 Bios update? If the Bios version does not matter would I be able to get it somehow as I am still unable to download for some reason. Thanks in advance
