  1. I only see this: Based on the Clevo 680m vbios: 'OCedition' revised -> higher limits for software overclocking, stock default clocks. For P1xxHM based systems I recommend only using version 80.04.29.00.01 !! Some users reported issue with other vbios versions (stock or modified, doesn't matter). EM users make sure you're on the latest BIOS / EC NOTE: At the moment the Clevo 80.04.67.00.01 vbios will crash Nvidia Inspector and GPU-Z, stock or modified, doesn't matter. MSI Afterburner works. Clevo 680m - 80.04.33.00.10 'OCedition' revised_01.zip (122.3 KB, 67 views) Clevo 680m - 80.04.29.00.01 'OCedition' revised_01.zip (52.5 KB, 25 views) Clevo 680m - 80.04.67.00.01 'OCedition' revised_01.zip (112.8 KB, 37 views) I still don't see an explanation of what the difference is between them in regards to clock and voltage settings? They all say OCedition revised. Again, sorry if I'm completely blind or something. Thanks, -A
  2. Hey, can anyone please explain the differences between the 3 Clevo OC VBIOS options there. I can't seem to find a description of what the difference is between them. Thank you so much, and sorry if I'm blind and I missed the answer
  3. Thanks for the info. Funny thing is my temps are the lowest ones I've ever had..
  4. Okay so I'm a little behind with the different Clevo VBIOS'. Which one is the most up to date, or so far most successful?
  5. I have a major problem.. when i reapplied thermal paste to my gpu today on the np9370 the 3rd heatsink screw broke off inside the thread! I'm currently running my system on 3 gpu heatsink screws, and thank god my temperatures are still extremely good under load (better than before). Any thoughts and suggestion on this problem will be greatly appreciated. Does anyone know about those posts the screws actually screw into? Are they apart of the graphics card? Can they be changed?
  6. You need to make a bootable USB drive with nvflash files on it, along with the new vbios (and rename the new vbios with a short name less than 7-8 chars or else you can't type it in). Back-up the existing vbios and then do the nvlash -4 -5 -6 vbiosname.rom
  7. Well my friend, I'm waiting for some new thermal paste in the mail so when I get some I will get to work on this and upload some pictures. Right now I only have the TIM that came with my XM CPU and I'm gonna give that a big hell-no I will keep you posted and I'm probably going to check all the heat-sinks cause my CPU temperatures could use an improvement and hopefully this may help. While we're on the subject what was the trick when adding aluminum tape to the fans? I'll take temperature improvements wherever I can Again, thanks very much for the info. These Clevo machines are known for small heat-sink and fan issues but I think with some slight modifications they are very worthy systems. Cheers, Alex
  8. Hey there L33, I may need your help if you don't mind. I have a Sager/Clevo NP9370/370EM with 2 680m's and I'm having some similar temperatures.. How did you fix it exactly? If this helps me I will be extremely grateful for your help.. Thanks, Alex
  9. Hey SL7, I noticed after playing some CS:GO that my SLI card setup, using your VBIOS and Afterburner +135/+500, I'm getting different maximum GPU frequencies between the 2 cards. The readings were like 30mhz or so apart. I forget the actual numbers but is that normal, I don't think I've noticed different frequencies between the cards before? Thanks a bunch. -A
  10. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3920XM Processor Extreme Edition,CLEVO P370EM score: P12455 3DMarks My best, but I did see 92*C on GPU2 and 95*C for CPU as max temps. This is with +135/+500 GPU/MEM..
  11. I had the Clevo 680m - 80.04.33.00.10 - 915MHz - 0962V - OC.zip when I did all of this. This is the one you are suggesting: Clevo 680m - 80.04.33.00.10 'OCedition' revised_01.zip ? It's stock clocks with OC enabled apparently? Thanks a bunch
  12. These scores are crazy.. I ended up defaulting my Clevo VBIOS cause I'm worried about my cards a little, plus I can't seem to get drivers to function properly with the new VBIOS - sometimes getting crashes or "Driver Failure" windows.. Any suggestions?
  13. I just use afterburner to do any further tweaking and it works just fine.
  14. Actually you know what it was??? I forgot because I re-installed drivers I need to re-enable SLI.. LOL? Soooooo..... After that was fixed...... I got 41k in vantage with physx (uncheck disable PPU)!!! My absolute highest score so far. I guess we will see how gaming goes and exactly how stable my computer really is. I never seen any artifacts in the vantage benchmarking.
  15. Which drivers are you using because I got 30k with physx in Vantage when I usually get 39k with physx enabled and +500mhz on VRAM?? I'm downgraded to the 36.97whql, I had the 310.33 betas before.
  16. I love you guys!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!! Works perfect!!!! <3 <3 <3
  17. I'm doing SLI and I could use a little help on the commands to do each card. Like first this command then this type of info. I'm sorry that I don't fully understand the directions EDIT: Nevermind!! I'm just a little antsy and didn't read past the part I was unsure about until now Sorry moderator
  18. Hey this is a little off topic but I'm studying this thread for OC stuff but I noticed you have a Qualification Sample 3920xm. I'm sorry to moderator for posting this here but I'm really interested in how your CPU has performed for you, does it act like a xm CPU?? I'm about to buy one I think and they have warranty for refund or replacement and they guarantee it's performance but I'm still trying to be cautious. I could get a used OEM out of an M18x for $779 or one of these for $550-$600.. For some reason my username is ??????????, I don't know if that's what happens to everyone who signs in with Facebook but I'm Alex for all it matters 8D
  19. I have that computer right now and it's really awesome. By far the best computer I've ever had. Regretful probably isn't the right word but I wish I went with the 3840qm or 3940xm right off the bat. I got the 3630qm and I find it to be a slight bottleneck for SLI. I'm going with a 3920xm Qualification Sample from ebay over an available used OEM for $780 I think. Still deciding cause the OEM is definitely more reliable except this one is used and the QS has a replacement warranty. Anyways great system.
  20. Sorry if I missed an answer to my question here but under-volting the card is good for overclocking?? I really don't know that much about all of this but it seems slightly odd??
