  1. No problem..I'm just helping the community with MSI GT notebooks.. I hope you guys would be able to try it out and test the compatibility of this gpu with 51x bios posted by @iTzZent , since this is the latest one.

  2. Here's the actual pic of the card and the heatsink... I hope someone out there try it out soon with their MSI GT 60(16F3)/70 nb's

Actual GPU was taken off from the latest MSI GT60 notebook. I hope the old (163F-GT60-ONC) is PnP also.

  3. All this bioses is original MSI, beta and confidential, but it stable and work with GTX 7XXM cards.

I updated my GT60 (16F3) with the latest .51X (AHCI) and i'm still using Win 7 and its 100% working!!! Many thanks to ItzZen and klem for the file and information.. In regards when upgrading the GPU to 880 or 980M, I hope someone out there would be brave enough to check it out and test to see if these two cards are working with 16F3 (GT60)

  4. Do you have an unlock bios with 51x? And what does that ec firmware do? Win 7, win 8 compliant too ? I used to have the modded ec firmware but updated it with your ec firmware too...

Boot mode default is legacy and or UEFI. Default is legacy. For win 8 is? Do i need to change it ti UEFI if i upgrade to GTX 780,880, or 980m models?

  5. @iTzZent

I've Successfully flashed my GT60 to the file you gave me plus the firmware too!!!! btw... I'm still using Win 7 btw.. the ec firmware there is for what win operating system? Thanks again!!! i think i may have to wait for the 970 or 980m maxwell then :-).. for the meantime i'll use the hd 4000 igpu since my 680m fried out on me... overvolt :-(

  6. Eh guys I got a noob question though... I am planning to get an OEM 8GB NVIDIA GTX 880M .... Is this compatible with an MSI GT60 (MS-16F3) if I update the stock vbios to one of @svl7 modded vbios? I got an unlock bios for the notebook. with "Launch Video OpROM - enabled/disabled/enabled when no UEFI driver... I hope i can get a feedback asap... Thanks

  7. I saw this nvidia gtx 680m with 2gb mems from dell manufacture in ebayr. Question is, is this compatible with msi GT60-ONE. My current 680m 4gb died out on me and I need to replace it... I hope someone can answer my question fast.. ThanksI

  8. Could you pleas share your experience with Voltage higher than 1,0 Volt. Anyone smoked his card in doing so?

1.25v vbios is the most stable. Don't go over 1.25 v or else your mxm vcard will die a fast one.. Mine lasted for 2 weeks only when i used the 1.05v vbios, then after 2 weeks, my laptop cannot detect the vcard gtx 680m anymore resulting to use the default gpu which is the intel hd4000.. Still saving up to get a new mxm vcard..

  9. Hello guru's I would just like to confirm if My MSI GT60-ONE with a 240 watts ac adapter and its stock GPU/CPU cooling is sufficient enough to handle the GTX 880M. Or do I have to look for another GPU/CPU heatsink? like the ones with the GT60-2OD edition?

like this one on the picture? post-7316-14494997760419_thumb.jpg

And also, will the vbios of @svl7 universal to any brands? Just plug and play (auto install of windows drivers?)

    Many thanks Guru's

  10. I have an MSI GT60 with a 240 Dell PSU. It works flawlessly with my 680M vcard. Due to freaking overcloking, my gpu died cos of overvolting to 1.5 volts (I should have stick to 1.25 volts file) vbios and I am opting for a GTX 780m soon. In any case you can look under MSI thread. I posted there the link where to get those 240watts adapters etc..

  11. It seems that 880M is still in dark waters when it comes to unlocking the vbios. Although I can see some sellers selling it at $800+. When i asked the seller if this mxm board is plug and play on my MSI GT60-ONE, he told me that it is, but I know that this gpu is heavily throttled (due to HEAT issues I guess ). Im thinking if i'll get one by the end of this year or not. If there is a no unlock bios within this year then probably i'll go for the 780M instead.
