cant find where to load the default setting in bios ... all i have is in the exit menu it said load optimal defaults (load setup default) is that what i need to run after installing the unlocked bios? thanks - - - Updated - - - maybe it the F9 (setup defaults) option at the bottom of the page? dont want to screw this up please help me

is there anyway the r2 bios could work with a r1 ....

i need to update my bios from A00 to A05 but my battery is death... i've download the .exe file from dell website and when i run it (insydeflash 3.93.00) it ask me for my battery and my ac adapter to be plug in. i already try with the command prompt to "forceit" but the same msg came again. i've try with the dos command in boot option with a boot cd and boot usb flash but it tell me that the programe cannot be run in dos. is there is anyone able to help me? thank you

i have the same problem and cant find the nv_disp.inf i only have nv_disp.cat i dont if i can convert it or...

where can i find the platform.ini file? ive download the bios from alienware website and the only file i got is a .exe thank you very much

what bios utility you recommend? the insydeflash dont let me update without a working battery
