  1. Hello, I have a P150EM and I bought a GTX 880m to fit in it. What I did not know is that it was not compatible, it says "N/A" in the BIOS, then beeps and after a while it shuts off so it is probably the temperature sensor acting up. I saw a thread on these and it is required a BIOS and vBIOS combination. Is this correct? Is there any other way of making this work?
  2. Wow that really is strange.. The only thing I can think of is if the temperature sensor fails for a second and the fan responds accordingly Have you tried with a different OS? Might be some ACPI driver issue
  3. Hello, Have you tried with other softwares? HWMonitor for example. If it gives you the same results you can try to check if the thermal paste is applied correctly.
  4. Hello, I don't think the BIOS has that option sadly. Why do you need to switch it off though?
  5. I believe you should use the command with "-p 0" and try only with one card on the master slot
  6. I believe if you have a working card on the master slot you can then flash the slave, possibly recovering both your cards. If you can get hold of a loan card or even a cheaper one you can try that, If you buy a new card the system should work with it since the problem is with the AMD vBIOS that you currently have. Another question that may seem obvious but you never know did you disconnect all the hard drives on the system to force it to boot from usb? This forum post also has a working vBIOS you can try: https://www.techinferno.com/index.php?/forums/topic/5015-ati-7970m-clevo-p370em-vbios-file/
  7. Good evening, I am not an expert, but will try to help. What is your Clevo model? Can you check what version of the 7970m you have so you get the right vbios? Can you test your bootable usb with another system? It might not be working. I use rufus for making a bootable usb. Also the laptop might not be booting from the usb at all. Tecnically the autoexec.bat from that guide should work fine.
