  1. Thanks for the tutorial. I'll flash my P170EM's vBios under MS-DOS using nvflash then report the results here.
  2. My Steam Profile (from SteamDB) Worth: $5642 ($1347 with sales) Games owned: 463 Games not played: 295 (64%) Hours on record: 1,068.7h Be disappointed in your life. https://steamdb.info/calculator/
  3. Do you think that it's worth it to order a thermal compound and some aluminum tape, and repaste and apply the tape to the gaps near the heatsinks of my unit asap? I've read like 6 pages and just blocking off the heatsink gaps seems to make more of a difference than I'd imagine. I'm hitting 90c temperature and my GTX680 downclocks itself. By the way, what thermal compound should I use? From what I've read, Arctic Silver 5 and MX-4 should be good. Am I safe choosing one of these?
  4. Hello. I have a couple of questions. I'd appreciate if someone can help me out. 1) In a German forum, I read that Clevo 680m - 80.04.33.00.10/80.04.67.00.01 'OCedition' revised_01 vBios are compatible with Clevo P170EM if we have the latest system Bios. Is this true? I'm using Prema Mod v2 so I should be clear on that. 2) In one of the posts, a user did tests with .33 and .67 and Furmark scores were better with .33. So I will assume the newer isn't always the better. Right? Thanks.
  5. Greetings. I found about TechInferno while checking for modifications for my Clevo P170EM. I have been enjoying the quality content here. Looking forward to participate in this community. Cheers!
  6. Thanks Prema. I've been using K2 EDITION Prema Mod v2 with my Clevo P170EM and I'm quite happy with it. I had some problems flashing Bios though a Rufus bootable USB drive though, it wasn't working as flashing process wouldn't start. (It was giving not enough memory error.). So I tried an alternative method and created a bootable USB drive using HP Flash Utility with Win98 MS-DOS system files with that I could flash the Bios with no hassle.
