so I got recently the adapter and plugged a Gigabyte rx480 G1 with Antec 650W PSU with y510p, windows 10, latest driver from amd. I get image to external display from the gpu itself, but I have a serious issue, when I run a simple benchmark, even on small resolution the egpu shuts down(complete poweroff) and also the psu (fan on psu stops spinning) Only reboot helps turning it back on. I followed Teslas' instructions. The one thing that is weird is that it tries to boot from legacy bios, doesnt find anything to boot and fallbacks to uefi, where it succeeds. Is this normal or can this affect something? Really frustrated after all this waiting.. @Tesla any advise ? Thanks Arieh

@Heterodyne -link is broken -also, how do you mod the rom? is it configurable ? do you have source code and you compile ?- I'm a software developer with some understanding in that area. just ordered the adapter last week, for my y510p, and hot on new nvidia cards willing to help
