GTX680M will throttle down to 135MHz on core when you run Furmark/Kombuster, this also happens on Asus G75VW's GTX660M.

Are you using 180W adapter? On my P150EM @854/2400 sometimes the screen dims for 1 sec and then back up, right now I'm using the GTX680M at stock clock, maybe start OCing again when I mod the tip of the 210W alienware adapter I have.

I believe I read through some threads back in June/July saying that Clevo EC couldn't read the temperature that the Dell card reports.
