okay thx dude! another question, maybe someone knows this: i ordered a single hdd setup, as they charge crazy prices for an ssd - hdd setup. so i'll just get the ssd (aa the primary disk) from my reseller and put the hdd which comes with the m18x in another hdd slot. now my quedtion: is another drivecage (and sata adapter) included (or already installed in the system), even if you only ordered a single hddsetup?

i'm about to order an m18x-r2 with dual 680m and sell my 17x-r4 with the 7970m... just wanted to get my hands on one of those for a long time now! would you rather get 4 x 4 gb of corsair vengeance 1866mhz or 2 x 8 gb of kingston hyperx 1600mhz? that's what im' not sure about atm.

ah nice to hear everything's up and running again! hope you get along well with it! i like it a lot atm. before i've had some trouble with all the drivers / afterburner ini modify until i was able to overclock it. and i got a shitty driver which made the card perform bad as sh*t... but now i got it set up right and it's doing a nice job (max pane 3 atm). yeah i have been playing max payne with a 950 / 1250 oc atm. running nicely

yeah the graphics are really nice and i like the overall feel of the game but yeah, the installsize is just epic! lol, warcrack...the only thing i like to look at about this game is some if the actionfigures. they have really nice ones. but i can't stand the game and most of the players...i have a few guys i know who play it. and if i'd line'em all up you'd be able to tell right away which ones of them are playing warcrack haha ^^ i'm actually just using an afterburner oc, no voltmod or anything i'm about to try those new drivers today hopefully. but i'm kinda unsure, at the moment the system is running really stable. and i just know....if i touch it, it will sure as hell go for the 50/50 probabilty that afterwards it will be unstabler ;-)

Thanks! I like this overclock, i also use it on my 14x. The gpu i just overcloked a little. It's not neccessary, as the card is a beast anyways, but i figured with the temps running the card in stock, i might as well just add some oc... and the temps still are nothing even close to worrying haha so did you put your hands on mp3 yet? yeah, max payne is a huuge-ass install! crazy! i will, sure as h3ll, uninstall it as soon as i finished it. i tend to leave games i really like on the system...as i replay a lot. but this one is sucking up so much space, c r a z y

so, after our honeymoon in bali, after half our company burned down (well, not really, but network-wise almost ) i'm back again what's up dudes? here's a screen after 2 hours of max payne 3 on my r4... settings all maxed out except AA (4x instead of 8x). temps are pretty sweet, i like! EDIT: (cpu running on level 3 overclocking 43, 41, 39, 37)

my 3720 idles around 45 - 50 degrees c if i use the auto system fancontrol (temps read with hwinfo). but since i have hwinfo fancontroll set up, temps idle at 37 - 40 ^^ =D

ps: i usually go up by 10 at the time and if it fails i go back from that failing setting by 1 at the time

try +300 / +1000 if your temps are ok and then just go up with the coreclock until it fails (if you want to bench).

because cards are different. each one has it's own personal flavor of OCcapabilities. i.e. in my m17x-r3 i had 3 different 6990m, for each one i had to search for it's max overclock at first, since they were all different.
