  1. Sorry buddy any bios above .017 is not gonna change voltage by flashing yet.. And if you use the vbios patcher its gonna read weird settings... trust me ive tryed everything possible. Until Svl7 updates the patcher, there wont be any other solution... I have vbios: .021 damit :/
  2. Without the vbios im stuck at: 1.000v 900core 1500mem anything over 920mhz crash even at 1.050v :/ wish i could go 1ghz...
  3. Basically the vbios will not work if you bought an alienware recently... Any vbios that comes with anything higher than 117 will not work, until this method gets updated.
  4. You can overclock and undervolt using ccc XML trick.. I tryed to overvolting using that method but i get downclocking while stressed, anything over 1.00v and the core downclocks to 450mhz. Anyone have any ide of why this happens? My stock voltage is 0.975.. i guess im unlucky :/
  5. Can you overvolt using the modified vbios? and what is your stock voltage?
  6. Any reason why my gpu is throttling at 70-75c?
  7. Also.. just wanted to know if you guys where planing to release a new Vbios editor that supports the new .021 Vbios
  8. It must be the vbios or drivers because with the ccc 12.11 beta 8 drivers i couldnt change my 2d voltage, but with the 12.11 beta 11 i can.
  9. Can someone explain to me why i can only change my 2d voltage but not my 3d?
  10. Still no one knows why some 7970m's have a locked Vbios?
  11. John what voltage is your gpu getting?
  12. It seems my 7970m comes with a newer bios then the modified ones. Could that be the reason why flashing an old vbios wont touch the voltage? Been trying for weeks to change the voltage, but no luck...
  13. I dont understand you... Do you have the problem too?
  14. Could anyone direct me to some of the flashing files? The ones i have could be corrupt :s
  15. I have the Alienware m17x R4 just got it a month ago.
  16. Just tried that... and no luck still stuck at 0.975v 900/1400mhz wtf is wrong with this card? Im using the latest 12.11 beta 8 drivers if that helps...
  17. The stock voltage for my card is 0.975v, i have flashed multiple bioses without the driver but still 0.795v :/ the max my card can handle is 900mhz on core...
