I've flashed slv7's vbios to K5000M on my Alienware m17x r4 with Intel core i7 3610QM and it worked flawlessly for 2 months and lately giving display crash and recover while gaming. I don't know what's wrong, gaming performance was really good, maybe my laptop needed more than 240W power (330W ones?). How can I stabilize it? Should I get modded 330W power supply or reduce the core clock and voltage little bit?

What's changed in this vbios? It seems lile my 240W adapter is not pushing enough power to run overclocked K5000M thus crashing while playing games. So I need either modded 330W adapter or bit lower clock speed than 758MHZ, maybe 708MHZ? How can I modify the values, which software should I use? Should I change the voltages also?

Can I know exact clock speed and voltage values for K5000M? I've used your ROM on my K5000M and it worked flawlessly for 2 months and started crashing while gaming since last week. So I flashed my old backed up ROM and the issue is gone. I'm thinking of changing clock speeds and voltages to same as GTX 660M.

I don't know if the memory is adjusted or not, I just flashed vbios from slv7 that's all

I never run 3d mark 2011, and I just used svl7's vbios. I tried playing Payday 2 without the vbios modification and it was unplayable at 1080p high settings, around 20 fps. After modding with slv7's vbios I can play it at 1080p almost ultra settings at 60 fps which is huge difference. And the max temperature never reaches above 68 celsius after 3 hours of Payday 2.

I never saw any power throttling.

I successfully overlocked my K5000M, base and boost clock is set to 758MHZ. Gaming performance is now super, I can play payday 2 at 1080p high (almost ultra) settings at 60 FPS, dota 2 ultra settings at 60 FPS Thank you!

Quadro K5000M works fine on my Alienware m17x r4, temperature is good. When idling its 41 celsius, when playing Dota 2 and Payday 2 it reaches 55 celsius.

Just received my K5000M and installed to my Alienware m17x r4, it's gaming performance is bad compared to my old GTX 675M, I really need to use slv7 vbios... K5000M works, i just installed it But gaming performance is poor.

I've ordered K5000M from ebay because it's 65% percent cheaper than K5100M, I will post my results when I install the K5000M in my M17x r4

So optimus will not works right? Or should I enable Integrated graphics after installing new GPU?

Anyone used K5000M on Alienware M17x R4? Will optimus works fine? I see that K5100M works fine.
