While their implementation tends to be poor; it's hard to argue with their vision. If we focus on just the tech, the goal of a consistent / unified experience across the three screens where you are able to use the same apps with your data and favorites is awesome. It's what google does with chrome, letting you log in for everywhere and then migrating your settings / favorites / plugins to ensure that you're using chrome the way you want to be using it. I would love to not search for random apps on my phone, to accomplish something that I can already do on my computer. Although I do admit that my usage of xbox apps is really centered around those that stream. Anyhow, I think the scary thing is how quickly the terms of use could change. IF (big if) they are able to deliver on that experience; and they get a fair number of users living in their world...suddenly thoughts of elevated subscription fees + ads + other marketing opportunities (using all this data that they are collecting on you) start to enter the picture.

I purchased my y150p a year and a half ago; and have only a single complaint: the wifi card is just horrific on my personal network (and reading around it seems that others have had this issue as well). I've finally gotten to the point where I'm going to upgrade and really make this a machine that will last me for the next ~5 years. Aside from that, this machine has been everything that it was advertised to be. 9/10, would buy again (with better wifi card 10/10!)
