Hi I enabled bios back flash in my BIOS but I still can't downgrade my BIOS. Any ideas what else should I do to get it working? Edit: Nevermind I forgot to plug in my battery.

It should work just fine. Also remember that m.2 and msata aren't compatible for each other. I suggest you to look at m.2 standard at Wikipedia, there is all knowledge you need to know about this standard.

Lenovo laptops have wi-fi white list, that's the reason you had trouble with changing wi-fi card. According to SSD there rather are no restrictions. Just 42mm length in the key of B for m.2 and don't use ADATA Premier Pro (I bought it and my laptop cannot see that disk).

I tried to start it up with other sata controller setting and bios still didn't noticed this disk.

Hi the SSD is Adata premier pro 128GB 2242. System Windows 8.1 pro. I hadn't changed anything in bios. Soldering seems fine to me.

Hi guys I soldered m.2 slot as my y510p didn't have one. I installed ssd drive but my bios and system does not see it. Is it only bios (I have stock rev. 3.07 locked) related issue, or could it by something else I need to do to get my ssd to work?
