  1. Hmm was always getting value not found, I'll be more thorough next time :-) Thanks Aikei!
  2. I can't find the voltage hex string in my vBIOS file. Is it possible that it's not the exact same values as in yours? Added my vBIOS as attachment 7970m_original.zip
  3. He will probably be stuck working on his iGPU. Only solution would be flashing in a machine without enduro like the Clevo HM series or asking SVL7 for a new preprogrammed BIOS chip.
  4. Thanks, Disabled ULPS resolved the issue I was having. It's nice to have a 7970m with a standard 1000Mhz core clock Going to try 1075mV on Core next, curious if I can reach 1150Mhz on.. but I doubt that the standard 180WATT PSU is holding me back (already have decreased performance in 3DMARK when I increase the TDP on my 3630QM and have my 7970M clocked at 1100MHz on core compared to a run with stock TDP on my 3630qm)
  5. Flashed my modded vBIOS with increased clocks. All is working great but only one minor issue is that my 7970m is now stuck at the edited clocks in 3D mode Only problem is that as soon enduro switches to the 7970m my GPU temps skyrockets because the card is always at 99% load (did solve the enduro issues tough )
  6. Well I can tell you from personal experience that my first 7970m (aug 2012) reached 1045Mhz on Core (1.1V), my current (june 2013) reaches 1100Mhz core (1.05V). Offcourse part of it still greatly depend on getting a good overlockable core
  7. Has anyone tried flashing their 7970m with a 8970m vbios yet?
  8. Prema, can I just flash the P170EM bios on my P150EM using the update1 & update2 batchfile or do I have to xflash?
  9. Tank you svl7, rally appriciate it
  10. The p270wm one? Thanks I will try that first
  11. Vbios 015.018.000.000 Tried with the BIOS from techpowerup DB but didnt work as iets a p370em one
  12. Thank you Prema. I will do this as soon as I get home.
  13. Does anyone here have an original vBIOS of a CLEVO 7970m for the EM series. I'm thinking about switching my 7970m from my P150HM to my P150EM due to it having a better CPU (3630QM vs 2630QM). Problem is that i lost the extracted original vBIOS with a HDD crash... Any help would be greatly appreciated
  14. Found a 7970M Clevo BIOS in techpowerup vbios database, how can i check if this bios is compatible with enduro (P150EM)? Svl7 can you please edit the voltage of this one to 1.075v please so I can flash it before I put in in my EM machine (which don't support vBIOS flashing of 7970m or is that fixed with latest ATIFlash?)
  15. Hey, Is there someone here with an original 7970m vBIOS for a clevo EM model, thinking about switcingh my gpu from my p150hm to a p150em
  16. Weird, my AfterBurner won't even report my core voltage its just a blank green box
  17. Svl7 would it be possible to get a 1000/15000 mod clock version of the Clevo W270HM 1.075V version? This would fix screen tearing without being stuck with fixed 3D clocks. edit: 3Dmark11 ~7100 GPU score
  18. I'm back on 1.075v, will test 1.1v max temp later. Got a nice update on the HDMI issue, it's driver related everything works fine untill the AMD driver gets loaded into the system. Update: Hitting 93° on the Furmark burn-in benchmark with 1.075v at 1020/1450..
  19. I have a P150Hm, no luck with the HMDI either. 1.1vcore BIOS is giving the P150HM a hard time, i can reach up to 1065Mhz core but it's not fully stable. Would a bigger PSU help or is this a mobo issue? Getting close to 7K GPU tough
  20. Using your Dell 1.075v 900/1300 BIOS on my Clevo, works like a charm
  21. Got up to 1030 so far on my core with the new modded Clevo BIOS, thanks Svl All the Dell bios files in the first post are first revisions right? I'll try flashing them later on today.
  22. Curious about that myself.. But i doubt that it will work Dell uses different RAM modules on their GPUs as Clevo
  23. Yes it is from the P270WM
  24. Well SAGER was the first one to come out with the modded vBIOS , later we found out that it was just the P270HM vBIOS for the 7970M. Only time i heard about a Clevo reseller modifying the drivers was with SAGER trying to get rid of the enduro issues with the p1x0em series. But i guess that we should consider ourselves lucky that their is atleast a BIOS out that lets us use the 7970m in our machines, having no HDMI out is still better then having nothing at all
  25. Nvidia for me. Back in the days when I was still a big overclocking enthusiast I had all Nvidia cards. They always had top performance and better optimization with their drivers. Now that I switched my desktop systems for a decent performing laptop that's when I also went from Nvidia to AMD, the performance difference between a 6970m and 485m GTX just wasn't worth the extra 250EUR.. Recently I switched my 6970m for a 7970m without any problems except for some minor driver issues (HWaccel with Flash), and I must say that without enduro this card is performing great but the 680m with the modded BIOS is clearly the best card available just a bit too expensive for me
