Hello ppl, an alienware 17 came to my hands with a problem with the LVDS EDP demux in bad condition, it shows video through the ports but not at the LCD. I wonder if any of you did repaired a motherboard with the same problem once ( or twice) and would give me some tips about what to check or wich smd components could have the guilty of the problem.

Could some one tell me if is possible to flash an alienware r9 m290x with a imac r9 m290x vbios? If so, could some one uploadd one ? thanks.

Does it work with external screens? I've got tons of problems with different inf files from different users (anyway, thankful with them) Edit: aw17 2005 60Hz screen and w8.1

No, that doesn't mean BIOS doesn't recognize it, actually it does. AW BIOS recognize as NVidia GFX 8xx series too, as far I know.

Ummm maybe I should had said this: before was possible to activate 3D on Nvidia panel, I had to activate 3D on Windows "Screen resolution" panel. I have an AW17 without 3D panel (because my asus is) but with external and without activating it at windows configuration, was missing from my Nvidia panel. Just try.

Ummm, mine is an aw17 and didn't work... (tested with the nv 344.75 installer)
