Okay I have AW 17 with 60Hz I just installed 970M today and I used 247.88 and the new 350.12 both are giving me just below 8000 in 3dmark ? the card throttling a lot. I did my test in optimus mode ? Any help guys which driver is the best right now ? Will Dedicated mode help ? or my system will not boot ?

So guys I am upgrading from 765M to 970M and I am been following this thread for alomst 2 months now , just few Q. I have AW17 R1 with Win 8.1 UEFI and 60Hrz Monitor 970M should be plug and play expect for the Modded drivers ? Will I lose the HDMI in functionality ? Will i Lose optimus ?( I like Optimus ) will the modded driver works from Laptopvideo2go ? Thank you guys all of you .

What do you think guys about the new Alienware 17 ? I own a 17" with Geforce 765M GTX should i just buy 970M Card or sell the laptop and get a new one ? 970M is about 688 $ right now i can sell the 765M for 200$

I have AW 17 (R5 if you wanna call it that ) I am going to upgrade to 970M from 765M So Do i need new 240 watt adapater ? Do i need 3 pipe heat sink ? Do i need to modify the vBIOS or just modified driver ? Thank you very much for your support !

Does Any body of you guys knows if 970M will work the same or not ? and does it need a 240 Watt Adapter too ?
