  1. thats because you gota downgrade to 2.07 first then run the EC.bat in dos mode to update EC part then after that you flash your moded 3.05 bios since if you downgrade to 2.07 then to stock 3.05 then EC it will throw an error since 3.05 has write protection on EC while 2.07 does not. Update: also like svl7 said you all should keep copy of your original bios.bin that bios backup tool creates it is so you can flash your original bios back to laptop if you don't want the mod anymore
  2. yeah i figured it out xD well i got CE flashed into my laptop now next is to flash 3.05 thats modded
  3. i see well i created a dos usb and moved EC files to it but when i run EC.bat it says it's not compatible for 64 bit of windows :/ so in what way am i supposto run that file? Nvm apperently you had to boot into USB as DOS mode and then do EC.bat xD
  4. Thanks i will try this right away i already got a backup of my bios.bin also do i really need to downgrade to 2.07 first or can i do this straight onto my exisiting 3.05? Nvm i saw you wrote it is recommended to downgrade to 2.07 first then flash moded 3.05

  6. well either that v staus is for cpu or so since when i checked tabs CPU:OCCT, CPU: LINKPACK, GPU: 3D, POWER SUPPLY all of them has same window with 12,25- 12,26 so i guess either it's cpu voltage or so instead. while gpu-z gave 1.310V on VDDC
  7. mine went to around 1.310V as max but it was around 1.100V first. if i check another program under GPU: 3D it says 12,26V
  8. if your talking about the VDDC then it's max around 1.100V
  9. where in gpu-z can i see gt755 vbios version? Nvm apperently mine has 80.07.A8.00.2E like you said svl7

  12. does anyone have a copy of bios version 1.07 or 1.09 or 1.10? since i would like to be able to flash moded bios version that unlocks every hidden menu untill svl7 manages to fix one for 3.05 :/
  13. so any luck on getting menus unlocked for version 3.05? also if you manage to fix this does it also unlock so MSI afterburner can adjust the fan speed or monitor fan speed to?
  14. Hi i flashed down to 2.07 but noticed it was wrong version that i needed so i went back to 3.05 but now my EC is stuck at 2.07 instead of 3.05 :/ is there some way to get EC back to 3.05?
  15. that blue box is not CMD it's Windows Powershell you would need to find cmd.exe right click on it and run as administrator then cd to path where you got the bakcup.bat at and then type backup.bat and it will begin dl some stuff from flash memory or w.e BIOS is installed at, and once done you should find a bios.bin inside your folder where backup.bat is located at. Ops could a moderator put this 2nd post with my first one? i forgot i already did a post reply so do this incase double post isnt allowed.
  16. does anyone here know any modded bios v3.05? for y510p? if not i will have to wait for PM off svl7 with answer.
  17. there is one AC card that works in y510p for those who does not wanna risk on flashing a moded bios into their laptop they will have to go to this link IBM Broadcom BCM94352HMB 802 11AC Dual Band 2x2 AC Bluetooth 4 0 867Mbps Card | eBay i ordered this one from china and got it yesterday and then i installed it into my y510p and it works great no issues at all it booted up fine and i installed boradcom wireless drivers and then wifi was enabled and that it's detecting 5GHz and 2.4GHz band since it's a dual band wifi
  18. I'm so gonna try this Bios mod in my y510p also does it even unlock the FAN status for programs like HWMonitor Pro and to be able to see current RPM speed on gpu fan? and cpu fan?
