  1. Is there somewhere I can look for the release notes for Clevo BIOS files - I'm just wondering what has been updated between each version. I assume there is no Microcode update to allow Ivy Bridge CPU's on the HM65 Chipset, but I'm curious to see what other improvements have been made Thanks!
  2. Isn't that just a general limitation for drives of this size? I think 24x is the maximum commonly quoted for cd-rom, but maybe that is the absolute peak speed at the edge of the cd, not the average?
  3. Not sure I am the typical user but here goes: I don't care about my computer looks, just how it performs. Having said that I would spend as little as I could get away with on the Mouse, Keyboard, and Speakers / Headset (if I wanted good sound I'd route it through my hi-fi - and motherboard's integrated sound cards have always been fine for me). CPU: If you want watercooling I guess you want to overclock, so 4770K (or wait for Devil's Canyon 4790K), MB: a "cheap" mid-range Z97 board (overclocking plus future-proofing with M2 / SATA-Express) RAM: As much as you can afford (although 16GB is probably enough) - my priority would be 1. more ram / 2. faster ram / 3. lower latency ram HD: Minimum 128GB SSD as main drive + 2 or 3TB HD (5400rpm probably enough) for main storage That is probably getting on for £800 all in once you add in a decent PSU and graphics card though so depends on your budget
  4. Haha +1 for Sleeping Dogs - flicked all the way through and surprised no-one had mentioned it so far. I'm also playing Remember me on PS3 and it's interesting so far. Also LA Noire is definitely worth a look as are Spec Ops The Line, Alan Wake, and Darksiders is also quite fun.I quite like DmC: Devil May Cry (never played any of the others). Older + Indie games: Original Deus Ex (amazing), Limbo, Deadlight, Dear Esther (not strictly a game, but interesting)
