Hi, im on vacations and far away work and i can´t get my hands on a 8970M enduro_able machine ( like P150SM or P170SM). Can someone with such a unit supply a stock vbios. Just use ati_winflash_2.3.0, run a 3D app to activate the card, open ati_winflash and save the vbios. Since im on vacations i have time on hands to supply moddified P370SM / P170SM / P150SM modified vbios... just sucks that at the moment im stuck with only a P370SM

This works with 8970M cards in the new CLEVO SM series... amazed i am!

Well im sure it doesn´t work in SM units with Windows 8 i just tested and it didn´t, probably something to due with the Clevo Hotkey driver version. I am going to try it with Windows 7 and the hotkey windows 7 version (wich is the same for the old EM units) and i will let you know.

I assume this won´t work with SM units right? May i be of some help to make this compatible with the new 4th generation SM units?

Nop sorry, i don´t think CLEVO ever made vbios available, or if they did it was one or two isolated cases. I have my personal collection that i gathered but no VBios for that card YET, i guess i´ll only have it when i manage to get my hands on one. For what i know it should take around a month for us to start selling those... Btw PREMA, since our last e-mail i got fully loaded with the new generation (updating website, checking the laptops, trying parts, etc), we´ll talk again as soon as we finish launching all new models. Setting up the "Customize you Laptop" for clients to build their laptops is a pain... so much to have in consideration, and too much responsibility with choosing the right components.

Tested and confirmed it, all mSATA are now SATA3. But something doesn´t smell right with the second mSATA, it doesn´t accept some mSATA brands... like CRUCIAL :S and ive seen some reseller selling units without that second mSATA, or better, they sell with a sticky "VOID WARRANTY IF REMOVED", meaning they don´t allow you to install the second mSATA for some reason that i still don´t know, and we (resellers in Europe) had no info from CLEVO about this... still inspecting this...

You should add description for P151EM, it´s not Fn + 9 but in fact Fn+1. Rocking a P151EM with 7970, 3940XM, 32GB DDR3 1866, 256 SSD Samsung PRO and a HCG display, i´m available for any testing you need

Same problem here. I just tried those vbios in a CLEVO P150EM (with Enduro) nothing changes. I tried the OV with modified clocks, i used a P150HM unit to flash it since you can´t flash with a EM unit. Nothing really changes, even though ATIFLASH reports the vbios change with success everything is like stock, clocks and voltage at stock values.

If you flash the CLEVO Vbios in the Dell card won´t it work just perfect?
