you might want to try reading it from a linux distro and seeing if you can use gparted to rewrite the partition table if that does work out make sure you rewrite it as msdos and not gpt since non-uefi windows can't read off gpt

Right now Sublime Text 2 is "free" as in there isn't any enforced time limit for the trial the autocomplete for commands and text is great though and it's a really nice editor

I have the dell and I really enjoy it, but maybe some other people can also give their opinions

usually you would want to do bootcamp since windows can't read from gpt partitions
