  1. How much of an improvement do you think it would be over my current 560M? I'm always maxed out at 99% GPU usage in BF3...not a big deal, as it isn't getting too hot, but I'd still like to get some increased performance.
  2. Definitely will. I'm just sick of dropping to less than 20fps in the middle of a game..lol
  3. About time I found a fix for this! Sick of watching my CPU go to 800MHz all the time...lol
  4. Not trying to threadjack, but what would be the fastest GPU to put in without modding the heat sink? I had to take mine apart to reapply the thermal paste and realized it would be easy to swap GPU's (and even CPU's)
  5. Anyone on here running a newer Macbook and able to dual boot Win7? I'm going to be selling my MSI (possibly) to purchase a 2012 15" Macbook Pro for daily use, gaming, and for audio production. I plan on using the Mac OSX side for music and audio production, and using the Win7 side for gaming (mainly Battlefield 3). I'll be swapping the Superdrive out for an SSD for all my apps, while using the standard HD for storing music and such. Anyone having any issues so far and can recommend if running Win7 through Bootcamp is easier, or to just do a complete separate install? Thanks!
  6. I guess I'll join in so I'm not trying to make BS posts. I'm Mike, just an average gamer, if you want to call me that...currently running an MSI GT683R and mostly play Battlefield 3...actually got on here to get the unlocked BIOS to prevent my CPU from stepping down to 800MHz in game...lol. Actually soon I'm planning on selling this for (unfortunately) a Macbook Pro (non Retina) with the GTX 650M (mainly to use the laptop with audio production)...hoping to learn some interesting stuff here!
