  1. This ram seems to run at 13 on the R1.
  2. Do you think that is a bug or both cards read the vbios differently when over clocking?
  3. Nope, all is good. Back on A03 Unlocked.
  4. Hold that thought. Annie is having problems with it at the moment...
  5. No, these are 4 gig modules. and they run as expected, but the clocks are not right. On monday Ill go to kingston and show them. Then ask what are their thoughts on the matter. These mods should be able to run 2666 mhz factory, if the bios has it listed. Ivy Bridge can run factory rated ram at like 3.3 ghz....I think they are at 2.8 ghz now in the DT world. (Factory set ram)
  6. Problem 2, R1 can only go as high as 10-10-10 what ever in bios. So that wont work either.
  7. Problem 1, In the r1 they seem to run at 2133 13-13-13-36 1.5V. It's suppose to run at 12-12-12-36 1.5V Bought them from kingston for 78 bucks a set. Running 16 gb now.
  8. I did notice if you start over clocking that over clock edition one...the voltage starts to drop ans the core clocks go up...I'll have to re look at which one i was last testing. - - - Updated - - - I did notice if you start over clocking that over clock edition one...the voltage starts to drop ans the core clocks go up...I'll have to re look at which one i was last testing.
  9. Doesn't seem to apply when in sli mode....At least.... Not yet.
  10. Would rather understand the other part than doing the matching...Because that means that a new vbios would have to be made each time. Then one could just lightly stutter when over clocking with msi or nvidia inpector...
  11. They over clock fine, but it's that micro stuttering they do and that quick flashing from say 900/900 to 222/900. So what im thinking is...We need to find that other set of clocks that seems to be hidden from view. And im also thinking that slv7 might not have enough time to do that by the end of this weekend due to of course...obvious reasons..(family. ) They will over clock fine and run nice and cool...So maybe having access to this this other clock domain might be the temporary answer.
  12. Welcome back for the weekend Brother Marco. Im using the 2gb dell version. and they all seem to throttle when you start getting into the 850 plus range....
  13. They Stutter bad at overclocks above +135 and sometimes lower than that.
  14. Im testing one so to speak. LOL I can get it into windows using a 4 gb vbios. Ann to almost take a driver, but then as it tries to read the video memory...it crashes. The code im thinking needs to be the same is the E10E to E10D. E10D seems to be on all 2 gb cards. And the E10E seems to be on all 4 gb cards.... Would need someone to confirm. By running nvflash whatever.rom and see what it says...From a 4 gb card perspective.
  15. I think i might have a reason why...but really not sure at this point... 4 gb cards give a slightly different code. And that code may or may not be what determines 4 gb vs 2 gb. All speculation at this point.
  16. Nope. Set at 900 or rather 888.9. Also, you needed to have at least 5 post. You should be able to download now... The unlocked working one.... sort of..LOL http://forum.techinferno.com/general-notebook-discussions/1847-nvidia-kepler-vbios-mods-overclocking-editions-modified-clocks-voltage-tweaks-7.html#post26285
  17. no. he is using a 3920xm es, but it shows as something different...
  18. that's what i meant by it wasnt seeing my drives. almost like trying to install raid on a brand new xp machine. i did get this to work, but raid was broken. it seems to work with achi mode enabled
  19. didnt even think to see if any thing else worked. guess we shall find out after brother fox flashes. just keep your favorite file on the same dos bootable flash drive. that way if dos booting fails, just blind flash and 2 minutes later..back to where you left off. i may give it a try just to see if it works.
