    Are the MSI VBIOS Ok to flash on whitebooks/OEM? e.g. Medions?

    Hi! Has anyone had success flashing an MSI BIOS on a Medion laptop? I've been trying to flash MSI BIOS E1762IMS.50X on my Erazer X7821 (which has BIOS E1762IMT.50M) but it won't take - the flash utility says the ROM ID is incorrect, and adding /x to FLASH.NSH gives an error about "cannot create secure flash session". I found the thread http://forum.techinferno.com/general-notebook-discussions/2403-flash-modified-bios-uefi-digitally-signed-circumvent-secure-flash.html but I'm hoping there's an easier way.

    Are the files in the OP still OK to use? I have a Medion X7821 but the BIOS date is newer than the attachments...
