Just out of curiosity - was it logitech unifying receiver causing sleep issues?

This get me thinking as well. Does anyone tried downgrade from 3.05 to stock 2.07 and then upgrade to modded 3.05 again? Why this wouldn't work? Is it related to EC part of the flash (or other like ME)?

Hi all, Do you know how to emergency recover BIOS in Y510p? I tried to use common method of Insyde BIOS recovery (starting with USB flashdrive). I tried several options (formatting USB drive to different filesystems, using different USB drive sizes, sticking to different USB sockets, using different key-holding Fn-B, Fn-R, Fn-Esc, Win-B... etc, and starting laptop using both PowerOn key and "special" BIOS key on the left) but nothing worked. The filename I used was YX01.BIN (tried different filename extension as well... .rom, .bios, etc). No luck so far - Laptop starts but flashing procedure is not started. Do you have any ideas? Hi guys. I finally modded my 2.07 BIOS and replaced wifi card with Intel 7260 AC but I started experiencing some issues with the card mentioned. First when the Bluetooth is ON I cannot sleep my laptop (once going to sleep it is waking up soon afterwards by itself) and the second - prolonged booting time. The computer hangs on Lenovo boot screen and then turns off, reboot and start normally automatically. This in only happens when doing restart. Cold start is working fine. Did you experience the same once replaced wifi module? How did you manage to resolve those issue? Thanks!

Hello, I have a question to you guys who has modded 2.07 BIOS and installed Intel 7260 AC. Do you experience "sleep issue"? I've seen some folks had issue but they all had 1.xx modded BIOS. Is it the same for 2.xx? Another question is... Do you know whether Intel Dual Band 7260 N (not AC) from Lenovo - don't recall FRU P/N right know - is whitelisted in the 2.07 BIOS? I know some y510p are bundled with Intel 7260 N but I don't know if it's Dual Band and what BIOS version they have. Thanks in advance.
