Great sign me up. For some reason mine was advertised as having a GT750 and arrived with a 755. Some have mentionned that the 3.05 did not hold the windows 8.1 keys. Do you need a copy of it?

So, I've read this whole thread. I've been googling and fooling around for hours. Googling anything with y510p and modified bios brings us here. It would be great that the OP be updated, as I'm sure most y510p's from now on will ship with 3.05. It does not seem possible yet with units shipping with 3.05 from factory, am I right? I've managed to pull the BIOS with a bios toolkit. I've got the 7260AC handy and am just waiting for a BIOS update to start taking it apart.

Hi all, new here. I've been directed here by most lenovo sites, and have found most of the information I needed. A few quick q's : How instrusive in regards to warranty is BIOS modding? I've kept a copy of the original download, and want to make sure if I assplode the y510p any time soon I can send it back and revert it to factory form. Thanks!
