  1. If you can sell those Titans, for basically the same price as the 780Ti goes for, then you will notice a performance jump for sure. I would do it! The extra VRAM will only matter if you are running triple screen or 4K, and even then, you will most likely not hit the limit.... check out this review: HARDOCP - Conclusion - GeForce GTX 780 Ti vs. Radeon R9 290X 4K Gaming Quote: "In all of our testing today, we tried to look for the differences between 3GB and 4GB of VRAM while gaming. We encountered no scenarios in these games where the 3GB of VRAM on the GTX 780 Ti was holding it back at Ultra HD 4K gaming. We also encountered no scenarios where the 4GB was an advantage on the R9 290X."
  2. Not sure how the cooling is on the MSI, but I am running 854/2151 (safe zone, need VBIOS mod to go higher on core) and it barely even runs hotter... 67*C, and my laptop sits with the bottom air intake "open to air" - i.e. where the bottom air vent to the GPU is, is not blocked by a surface, it hangs in the air between my Desk and old PC Tower - it gets tons of fresh air.
  3. Ooh?! Intro's! Well, I've been pretty hardcore into PCs since I overclocked my first computer, a Pentium 90 to 100.. the poor FSB/Memory of those days wouldn't get me to 112.5... Ahhh, the day's of Jumpers! Been hardcore into FPS in my younger days, then took a break from gaming for a while... Was always a PC game except for my early Sega/Genesis days (Shining Force!). Played lots of Quake, Unreal/2k3... after my break I actually got back into games on the PS3, specifically Dark Souls! Finally! A game worth playing that doesn't hold your hand! Right now... I am waiting for Star Citizen to really get me back into the cockpit!
  4. Hey Folks, New to the forums! Any Star Citizen (Chris Roberts!) Fans here? Check out Roberts Space Industries!
  5. Does anyone know, or have a walk through on which parts are needed (Dell Part Numbers) and a good tutorial on upgrade a 680M to a 780M? I have seen some stuff on the 770M upgrades so far, if it's possible, this would be great. Looking at the 770M threads, seems there are a few things more that are needed than just the parts obviously. Amazing and awesome forum btw.
