  1. It is easy to find complaints of IC Diamond scratching the surface. Avoid IC Diamond thermal compound [solved] - Overclocking - Overclocking I find most high end pastes are simular in capability. I have had no problems with Artic Silver 5. And if you go to their website, they even tell you how to apply it depending on your cpu. Just avoid bubbles, get even coverage, and keep it as thin as possible.
  2. The Lenovo Y series, and several models of Clevo/Sagers. The Clevo/Sagers tend to be very customizable. So depending on the options, you can increase or decrease your bang for bucks.
  3. I think you mean ETAs, which is estimated time of arrival. So he was saying he wouldn't say when it would be done.
  4. For league of legends, this logitech forum post might be helpful. g700s button binding issues - Logitech Forums
  5. Was it working before? What changed? Did this suddenly happen? Have you tried switching displays using the function keys? Do you get a popup window that shows the laptop display can be selected? Do you see a dim light comming from the laptop display at any time? Any more details?
  6. Well, you don't say what games you play, or why you don't want too many buttons, or how many buttons or want, or etc. Personally, I like more buttons for gaming, as I can map them to things like grenades, weapon switching, etc. Or map them to different spells that can be cast, or etc. So a generic recomendation would be the Logitech G700 or G500. I would skip the "s" versions as the upgrade doesn't add much. Also the Logitech G602 looks good. It is cordless, like the G700, but the battery lasts for a super long time. The reviews from Amazon reviewers look good so far. Look at the mice and try to find one that fits your hand and how you hold it. Also try hitting the various buttons.
  7. For laptops, get Intel. The current Haswells are good, and offer much better battery life. So to avoid most CPU bottle necks in games, get Intel.
  8. Do you get an error message? Are you running it by double clicking and you see the icon change color? What if you highlight it using a single click then press the enter key? What happens when you try to program the buttons?
