  1. I just got some MX-4. Motherboard change tomorrow. I will see how much of a difference it actually makes
  2. So I shouldn't worry about scratching anything then. Or should I send back the Antec formula 7 and get some MX-4
  3. Thanks for the reply. How do you apply it? Do you spread it evenly with a card, or put a pea size ball in the middle? IC Diamond has done research that the pea size ball in the middle is their preferred way to apply the paste as the heat sink spreads it evenly and consistently across the CPU/GPU. http://www.innovationcooling.com/applicationinstructions.htm
  4. Hi guys, I have an Alienware 18 and the motherboard is getting replaced on Monday. I have a choice between: Arctic silver 5 Arctic cooling MX-4 or MX-2 Antec Formula 7. Now I have done a little research and I am not sure if what I read is true, that the diamond based compound can scratch the surface of CPU/GPU. If it isn't as what it seems I think that the Antec Formula 7 is the winner. Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  5. Hi, I flashed my alienware 18 gtx 780m sli with the modded rom. But for some reason I cannot change the core clock above +135Mhz. When I see what BIOS version in GPUZ its the 80.04.B3.00.10. But if i look in MSI afterburner it says they are still stock at 80.04.AF.00.03? Also I used these commands nvflash -i0 -6 name.rom nvflash -i1 -6 name.rom I continued with y. It says it has finished, when I restart and check on NVINPECTOR its still the same bios 80.04.AF.00.03 i am running NVIDIA DRIVERS 331.40 the Revision is A02 but actual computer BIOS (not vBIOS) is A03. HOPE SOMEONE WOULD HELP... thanks in advance
  6. Hi guys, I had a M17x r4 but so much went wrong with it, AW decided to refund me my money so I could buy a new beast I am defiantly getting the GTX 780M SLI option. The only option I am deciding on is the processor. 4800mq 4900mq 4930mx Which one do you guys recommend? I was worried about the 4700mq as it may become a bottleneck whilst playing demanding games. Is the premium price for the 4930mx worth it over the 4900mq? Is the 4900mq much better than 4800mq? Many thanks in advance.
  7. Hi Guys, My name is Elliott. I am a student studying Computer Science I live in london where it rains all the time. I recently built a water cooled rig with GTX 680 SLI which is really nice imo, may post some pictures up. I am in need of the unlocked GTX 780M VBIOS. Hope everyone has a nice day
