Hi there, I'm still with stock A11. I guess that I just have to flash the unlocked version and everything will be fine, right? Besides, if in the future I want to upgrade to a stock version, let's say A14 (if it will exist) i have to follow normal procedures like I did from A10 to 11? Thanks a lot!

GTX 880M 8GB review by upgrademonkey for Techinferno (preview)

Yeah, in fact you're right, I hate rebranding politics...but I love it at the same time: my 7970m will surely last looooonger, ad besides that I think that even at 850mzh can handle everything fluently. Nvidia should rethink the prices, there's no reason to prefer their mid-high and high tier cards IMHO -
Is there a way to lock the temperature threshold to a lower level thanks to the modded bios? (for example instead of reaching 70° I would set the max to 65°, thus making the fans spinning faster)

I agree with you, it's a monster card for sure, but that price is madness. However, I'm very curious to see the performance vs the r9 290xm.... -

Hi there, my r4 with 3630 and 7970m stay around 54 (cpu) and 56 (gpu), during normal tasks. In gaming I have reached max 71° (cpu) and 67° (gpu). I'm planning to repaste with mx4 to see if the temps will lower further. Anyone used the mx4 for repasting the r4?
