  1. The backplate doesn't actually touch the card, There is roughly a 2-3MM gap between the backplate and card, I recorded temps before I put the backplate on and after and there was zero degree change in temps. Here's mine fully installed on my *EVGA Superclocked GTX 780* overclocked to a stable 1202/3206 with idle temp of 27'c and load of 64'c *My house is quite cool and an air coolers dream * Powered off - Powered on -

  3. Well I'll be paying roughly £30 for my back plate which includes shipping from Portugal
  4. Recently found a gent in Portugal that makes some of the best backplates money can buy BUT for a good price, The store is called coldzero and will be closed for maybe 1 or 2 days more as he just had a child. Examples of his work - He just recently added new backplates to his range including the 700 series and others, Each of the backplates for each card have many different design options. His prices are awesome considering the quality of the products Main site - http://www.coldzero.eu/ Just thought I would share this as there aren't many decent places to get good mod type products.
  5. My Titanium Fatal1ty Pro decided to die on me recently, It had bad popping and crackling issues most of it's life, So I'm looking at getting the Phoebus, How much of an upgrade would it be and does it work well with 7.1 headsets ? Any information is appreciated
  6. I did have the 680 superclocked from EVGA and it was a blower style fan, Awesome card aswell
  7. My 780 since I got it about a month ago has been running very hot, Idle of 50'c and that was before the heatwave, Took off the shroud and someone at the factory must of run out of TIM as there was literally only enough to cover half a skittles/smarties worth. I have some IC Diamond 24 Carot which I just used on my 4770K and it's really good stuff but would it be safe on the 780 ? Silly question I know but I'd rather be safe than sorry
  8. Flashed my 780 with the OC bios and I have 1202/3206 stable thanks very much *EDIT* is 1.2v safe for the 780 ?
