I can't overclock my 980M more than 150mhz. It doesn't matter te extra-voltaje I put. I tried the maximum with 1.200 but not luck either. The temps seems good below 87°C and I leave the Ram speed to stock to check the core overclock. Is it normal?

Hi. Im about to buy this monitor but I'm not sure if my 3740QM will support the resolution 3440x1440 at 60hz. I read that with Displayport I will get 50hz for sure, but not sure if it will get the 60hz for gaming. The Intel HD 4000 is the one that will allow or not. My laptop has a 980M but the output os though the Intel HD. Any help with this? Thank you

Yep i have that also too. It wonder if it's anything related for core -parking; but it's the GPU the ones that doesn't go to full speed.

Hi. I'm having a big problem with my 980M as it doesn't want to work at full speed. I installed Prema Vbios for the 980M and also latest Bios for the motherboard. When I start a game or 3dmark it goes to 600-700mhz instead of the 1038mhz. I'm using 350.12 nvidia driver. Clevo P170EM. 3740QM. Any help with this? Thank you

What's the best setting in the control panel I can use for vsync or vsync off? What a shame as gsync gets rid of a lot of problems.

Hi. I just installed and ran some benchmarks with the new graphic card with PREMA VBIOS. My temps with the 680M while running 3DMARK11 were 45°C at idle. 70°C the hottest. With the 980m the temps are 50°C at idle. 75°C the hottest. I used in both the IC7Diamond and fujipoly extreme pads. The results of the 3DMARK11 are: P10400 X4240 CLEVO P170EM, 3740QM, SSD SAMSUNG 840 PRO, 16GB RAM, 980M. Just a couple questions: Is its normal the 980m runs hotter? The results are ok for my setup? Sounds good then. I have the card here in the box, but I can't install it as I'm waiting for the thermal pads... I should do it tomorrow. Do you guys out thermal pads in the back of the PCS for the Vram? In stock they don't use pads for that area.

Hi. I'm going to use the Polifony pads for the Vra but the back of the PCB doesn't have any thermal pads. Should I leave it like this or should I put pads also for Vram the back of the PCB?

Hi. I just bought the 980m and I'm going to install it today. I read that the 980m will have 20% less power in a Overclockeable driver? I'm going to install the Vbios from Prema and I already have the lasted Prema Bios for P170EM. Will I need also to mod the drivers to install it? Thank you

I cannot see any option in the Latest Prema Bios to overclock the CPU. Do you make it in windows with XTU?

Get also Fujipoly Thermal Pads for the other components that are not the GPU die. I just got the Fujipoly 0.5mm 11w and also the 1.0mm ones. Will helps for overclocking the memory too.

I bought already the GTX 980m for my Clevo P170EM and I'm looking at the Fujipoly Extreme Thermal Pads. My question is about the size of the pads and the thickness. 1) The thickness I can buy areplacement 0.5mm, 1mm or 1.5mm. Which one will I need? 2) The size of the pads I found is 100x15mm. Not very big. How many of this will I need? Thank you
