Hi! In Lenovo ThinkPad X240, any modified bios can be flash using hardware SPI programmer only, exactly the same as described in the first post of this thread. So, to create your bios backup (dump) you must to use hardware SPI programmer only. Please read the first page of this thread. Also, your link ask some permission to download file.

Team, I have P775tm1-g Clevo laptop I have decided to upgrade my laptop from 2x16GB to 2x32GB. I have tried following memory: RAM Configuration DDR4 3200MT/s / 22-22-22-52 / 1.200V Crucial Technology / CT32G4SFD832A.C16FF / E9E1509E Crucial Technology / CT32G4SFD832A.C16FF / E9E14AA3 and RAM Configuration DDR4 3200MT/s / 22-22-22-52 / 1.200V Vendor Part Info Samsung / M471A4G43AB1-CWE / 041F1FCA Vendor Part Info Samsung / M471A4G43AB1-CWE / 041F1FCA (Adamanta brand) The memory is failed MemTest86 V10.7 (attached). Does Clevo P775tm1-g support 2x32 GB memory? 2x16GB Crucial planks pass the test without issues.

I have practically exact the same card received from amazon, and I have the similar issues: black screen when I switched to run laptop from nvidia card (even msi logo doesn't show). I tried to get backup of current vbios in multiple ways, but without success The only difference is that the my msi gt72 6qe originally came with a gtx 970m (3gb) which is dead( (that is why in gpu-z we see the diff in Bus interface only) Thanks.

Hi all, I have an M6600 that I bought a few months ago and have almost maxed it using whatever parts I had on hand. And around the same time, I didn’t do much research and purchased a DELL Quadro M4000M that I had installed recently as I discovered the heat sink that came with my M6600 fits the M4000M just fine. Initially, I had a FirePro M8900, which started crapping out a week ago, which is what inspired me to do this swap since the M4000M just sat in my bag for the longest time. However, since installing the M4000M, I can no longer boot into Windows 10 as it gets stuck on the Windows logo, and I cannot boot into the installer for that or for Windows 7, which promptly crashes after loading files with HAL_INITIALIZATION_FAILED. Linux in the other hand gets stuck with a tiny resolution of 800x600, and attempting to use the GPU to drive the display (using prime-select on distros like Linux Mint or Ubuntu) causes me to get stuck in the tty session until I reset prime-select back to intel. Is there anything I can do? Or am I stuck with Kepler based cards as the maximum? And additionally, what’s the most powerful card I can put in this thing if I can’t use this M4000M? Thanks, Rift

In this laptop model, if you are using a hardware SPI programmer, this does not matter.
