Recommended GPU that fits nicely into Akitio

Hi,

 

I would like to get some recommendations on best GPU that will fit nicely into the Akitio casing for my Macbook Pro.

 

My research bring me to this setup:

 

GPU:

• Geforce 970 mini ATX or
• R9 Nano

 

Power supply:

• Dell DA-2 220w 

 

I am leaning towards buying the R9 nano, because it's shows much better benchmarks in comparison, tho a higher price.  I have heard success with the 970 mini being used but cant see much talk on the R9 nano,   will it fit and work fine?

 

Anything else I need?

The R9 Nano has been very expensive before and nobody bought it. Also there have been reports about stability problems with AMD cards paired with an AKiTiO.

The Nano should fit, but I am not sure if a Dell DA-2 can handle that GPU.

The following 970s fit:

- Zotac GTX 970 (the short one)

- KFA2 GTX 970 Gamer OC

- Galax GTX 970 Gamer OC

or the name was...

- Galaxy GTX 970 Gamer OC
