Khenglish Posted January 5, 2016 Share Posted January 5, 2016 eDP is required for 4k. I have been trying to get mine running on my P150EM and it has the following problems: 1. Backlight control signals are missing. 2. Logic voltage set to 5V instead of proper 3.3V 3. iGPU vBIOS lacks eDP section. BIOS lack mxm dGPU info & dGPU line disconnected 4. No existing eDP cable Now checking your P150SM service manual, you seem to have the backlight and voltage issues corrected. Your pinout is the same as mine though, so there is also no cable for you as well. You'd have to build your own eDP cable using your service manual as reference.
